Why I work across
technology and business.
My MBA isn't a departure from engineering. It is the next chapter after years as an implementor - using that experience as a foundation to unlock the ideator within and understand the problems, people and decisions behind what gets built.
“What happens when an engineer becomes more intrigued by why a product is created and how it serves people, rather than the tech stack behind it?”
That shift is what pulled me towards management. I have always been curious across disciplines — art, music, dance, writing and events came naturally to me long before I studied engineering.
Engineering gave me structure, problem-solving and technical depth. Working at Accenture's Software Defined Vehicles R&D team then gave me a much sharper question: what is the human and business value behind the solution?
That is where product, strategy, analytics and business started feeling like the natural intersection of the things I enjoy. Great Lakes is giving me the immersion to explore that intersection through cases, teams, competitions, student initiatives and hands-on work.
